Banknote with the diagonal overprint “WZÓR.” (with a period) on both sides, between two parallel lines, and the overprint “Bez wartości” (No value) appearing twice on each side of the banknote; overprints in red. Serial number: 2531972; design edition number: 2672. The banknote is perforated three times horizontally.
A variant of this design (low-relief print, with a design edition number and perforation) is known from records of 24 different pieces (out of 38 known designs in total), with 8 pieces known for designs with serial numbers starting with 25XXXXX; one of them is featured in this auction.*
A nice piece for this design type, confirmed by a solid PMG grading grade, featuring small stapler holes typical of these designs and small traces of rust in the same location—as noted in the description on the slab. This type of design with perforation, due to the technique used to produce it, is very difficult to obtain in bank-quality condition; pieces such as the one in this auction are rare.
