A 10 zlotych tax stamp from the Kościuszko Uprising , 1794, Series C, with a 5-digit serial number: 21559
A natural-looking banknote with a beautifully preserved "ribbed" texture of handmade paper, featuring a very attractive appearance enhanced by, among other things, the paper’s natural, creamy hue and the exceptional print quality (high-contrast printing). The dry seal is clearly legible, as are the clearly visible signatures of the two commissioners, M. Pągowski and T. Staniszewski.
An attractive piece, with its condition confirmed by a solid PMG grading score. The NET annotation and the description on the slab—which incorrectly suggest that the left margin is damaged—refer to nothing other than the edge of the sheet of paper used for printing, hence its natural irregularities.
