Classic women's kurosode kimono with a motif of a princess wearing a traditional ceremonial twelve-layer kimono. 1 The kimono is made of high-grade silk and features decorative Ageha-no chô (wing-straightening butterfly) mons on the sleeves and neck. On the front of the kimono is a beautiful convex appliqué, depicting a seated figure of a princess. She is facing away from us, so that her face is not visible, so it is difficult to even notice her presence at first glance. In her hand she holds a fan. On the back of the kimono we see the same figure. The bulk of the decoration is the aforementioned ceremonial kimono of the princess, on which we can recognize various traditional decorative motifs: chrysanthemums, cranes and phoenixes.
2. silk obi belt, of the fukuro obi type, with the same figure as on the kimono. It is placed on the veranda of the house, and the entire belt is decorated with cherry blossoms, paulownia, chrysanthemums and irises to symbolize the garden. The belt is heavily plated with gold, as evidenced by the accompanying quality certificate issued by the Kyoto Instutute of Science on February 3, 1989. The reverse of the belt is made of orange silk. The belt is signed.
3. obijime belt (with which the obi belt is additionally wrapped) - hand-woven, cotton, silk-blend, with a tonal transition from pink to green with an embroidered wave.
4. obidame oval pin, made of orange agate.
5. shitagi undershirt - standard size, white cotton.
6. Kushi and kanzashi - comb and hairpin, made of wood, pink in color, decorated with mother-of-pearl. Items in original box
