Type VII (Ciura) bust.
The Ślepowron coat of arms (of Jan Kazimierz Krasiński—Grand Treasurer of the Crown) in parentheses is separated by an inscribed border on the obverse—rare.
On the reverse, on either side of the shield bearing the Snopek coat of arms (the coat of arms of the Vasa family), the letters A–T (the initials of Andrzej Tymf—the leaseholder of the Lviv Mint)—rare.
Variant with plain coats of arms.
An oval-shaped cartouche bearing the Vasa coat of arms. A trefoil above the cartouche.
No date—rare.
Inscription variant with the king’s title “IO CASIM … PO ET SVE” in the border on the obverse and “… ARGEN SEX REG POL ET SVE” in the border on the reverse—rare.
Condition:
Minor flaws in the metal and strike, but a beautifully preserved piece. Good detail. Luster and plenty of mint mirror finish. A rarer year of issue. A rare variant featuring the Ślepowron coat of arms in parentheses. A rare variant—without [ the standard inscription]. In this state of preservation, the coin is very rare and very difficult to find on the collectors’ market. A beautiful piece to complete a collection.
