About the Artist
I was born on 17.07.1988 in Rzeszow, Poland. I am a graduate of the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of
Fine Arts in Krakow (2019) and the Faculty of Interior Design at PWSW in Przemyśl
(2013 r.).
The graduation sculpture as an honorable mention was exhibited at the Palace of Art at Plac
Szczepanski in Krakow, and then purchased by the Westerplatte Museum in Gdansk, where
we can still see it as part of the permanent exhibition.
In the "Painting, Graphics, Drawing, Sculpture of the Year 2019/2020" competition, I received the prize of the Marshal of the
Podkarpackie province, and I also participated in post-competition exhibitions, in the
international competition in Ostrava, Czech Republic, in the 2nd national biennial of drawing "Time,
Movement, Space" at the Gallery of Contemporary Art in Wloclawek (2021), in the National
competition of the series New Situations entitled. "Revival" at the Art Pharmacy Gallery in Warsaw (2021).
and in the "4th Student Biennial of Small Sculptural Forms 2017" in Cracow.
I participated in an international open-air workshop in Imatra, Finland, as well as an open-air
sculpture plein-air at the "Ćmielów" porcelain factory.
I have also participated in more than a dozen group exhibitions and my works are in
private collections in Poland and abroad
In my work, primarily important for me are mental and emotional states and
existential problems that are closely related to them. The works often speak about topics
uncomfortable and silent, which are hard to talk about and difficult to discuss.
I try to capture through physical form, the metaphysical essence of human life.
No less important in my sculptures or prints is also heritage, its wide field of
interpretation, as well as its evolution and de-evolution.
It is also important to me to create a unique bond between the artist, the work, and the viewer, which
is unique to each individual relationship and, which presupposes an infinite variety of
perceptions.
The techniques I use most often are destruction and deconstruction, corrosion, synthesis and
transformation. The materials in which I find myself are: metal(steel wire), ceramics, resin,
artificial stone and sprays.
Figuration and its transformation, realism and
surrealism. With drawing, on the other hand, it is a little different, as it contains more metaphor and less
literalism.
However, both fields are united by a broad interpretation of the reality around us, showing
it in a variety of ways using a variety of formal means.
