Przemyslaw Lasak. He was born in 1958 in Opole. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw in the studio of Krystyna Cybińska in 1986. For the best diploma he received the rector's award and the award of the Minister of Culture and Art. After graduation, he was employed at his alma mater, since 2002 as a full professor.
Techniques used by Przemyslaw Lasak include ceramics and sculpture, as well as oil painting. The artist is the author of ceramic cycles consisting of life-size sculptures depicting human figures.
Przemyslaw Lasak is the winner of a gold medal at the 47th International Artistic Ceramics Competition in Faenza in 1991. He was also a participant in the international ceramic plein-air Porcelana inaczej in Walbrzych, plein-air painting workshops in Kamion, Szczyrk and Mikolow.
