Horse standing on oak

Germany?, model of undetermined authorship - replica of a model by Gunther R. Granget?, made for the Lorenz Hutschenreuther AG porcelain factory circa 1969, 2nd half of the 20th century.
On a flat, oval-like base a standing oak horse, supported on the base by a tail developed to stabilize the figure. Presented version (good replica), based on a sculpture by a well-known German sculptor-animalist working in porcelain and wood, realized at the Hutschenreuther factory, with which Gunther R.Granget (1932-2010) collaborated from the mid-1960s; from 1984 to 1996 he was responsible for the factory's sculptural projects.
