Matthew Lewandowski, Boiling

Acrylic on canvas, 100x50 cm

A symphony of blue envelops the viewer's gaze in this enigmatic canvas, where vivid carmines dance with wild passion against a background of intense shades of blue. The artist's bold brushstrokes create a swirl of movement and texture, evoking the restless spirit of Abstract Expressionism. The color palette, which speaks of both depth and dynamism, masterfully captures the dichotomy between chaos and harmony.

The juxtaposition of cool and warm tones gives the work a dramatic contrast, imbuing it with tension and mystery. One can sense the whisper of the cosmos amidst the swirling patterns, suggesting the influence of the avant-garde movement. Each look reveals new nuances, inviting the observer into a mesmerizing dialogue with this colorful, emotional landscape.

Before he started painting he created analog photography and sculpted. He is currently a single dad of a cat, and in his free time he rides his bike or paints. In his paintings he combines the aesthetics of urban space with pop'art and Pollock. He is inspired by everything from the scribbles he encounters every day on switchboxes to psychedelic pictograms. He uses spray or marker more often than a paintbrush.
