oil on canvas , 50x60cm (in frame 58x68cm)
This painting is characterized by metaphorical painting that is constantly evolving. The composition is densely covered with small, mosaic-like patches of color, mainly in shades of green and turquoise, with accents of lighter blue and red, which gives it a vibrant, luminous texture, somewhat reminiscent of pointillism or impressionism.
Lech Wolski (Toruń, April 9, 1948, lives in Toruń) studied painting and art pedagogy at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. He received his diploma in 1974 and is currently a professor at his alma mater, where he runs a painting studio. He has had a number of solo exhibitions and has also participated in group exhibitions at home and abroad. In 2008, the Scientific Publishing House of the University of Krakow published an album dedicated to his work. His metaphorical paintings are undergoing constant evolution, and the signs and forms they create give his compositions ever new tension and stimulate the imagination.
