A pair of collar badges of the Carpathian Lancers. Badges in the form of two palms with a crescent. Reverse plain with omegas for attachment, one of the badges has a broken omega. A rare pair of wartime collar badges.
The Carpathian Lancers Regiment was formed in 1940 as part of the Independent Carpathian Rifle Division. It took part in the Siege of Tobruk. The unit was later incorporated into the 2nd Armored Brigade of the 2nd Polish Corps and took part in the Italian campaign.
