Biography
A graduate of the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Kraków and the Kraków Academy of Fine Arts, where she studied in the Department of Painting under Prof. Stanisław Rodziński and in the Department of Interior Design. She is a member of the OW ZPAP. She actively participates in solo and group exhibitions, competitions, and plein air art events. Since 2002, she has been continuously engaged in interior design at the studio she co-runs. In her paintings, she draws on nature. She is inspired by the formal and color arrangements in the landscape she observes, and sometimes by a fleeting emotion. Through her use of color and composition, combined with the impasto texture afforded by the plasticity of oil paint, she dematerializes the literalness of her motifs and leans toward explorations that oscillate around abstraction.
