Sigismund II Augustus, 1570 12-denar coin, Vilnius – Platina – rare and very nice
A variant struck with dies designed by Petras Platina.
Condition: 2+
Slight scratching on the reverse (visible in the photo), but for this type, it is a beautifully struck and well-preserved piece. Beautiful detail. Brilliant luster and a mirror-like finish. In this condition, the coin is rare and quite difficult to find on the collectors’ market.
