Russia, Nicholas II, Rouble 1896 АГ

A very nice example of a popular issue.

Wear on the highest parts of the relief; the background is slightly dull.

Obverse: the Tsar’s head facing left, with the legend on the rim:
B.M. NIKOLAI II, EMPEROR AND AUTOCRAT OF ALL RUSSIA;

Reverse: the eagle of the Russian Empire, with “РУБЛЬ 1896 Г.” below it;

Edge: ЧИСТАГО СЕРЕБРА 4 ЗОЛОТНИКА 21 ДОЛЯ;
