Born in 1923, Antoni Kowalski was both an artist and a lawyer. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow and at the Jagiellonian University at the Faculty of Law. The main theme of his works was urban landscape, especially the city of Cracow. In addition, he was an excellent portraitist.
