Halina KOŁODZIEJSKA
b. 1953 Lublin
Graduate (1978) of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (studio of Prof. Jan Tarasin). Her paintings are a painterly journey to her favorite places in Kazimierz-on-Vistula. The artist evokes the image of Kazimierz with vivid colors, building a cheerful mood and warm atmosphere with sun spots on the streets and walls of houses. The beauty and lightness of these paintings, which refer to the post-impressionist tradition, eloquently testify to the painting culture and workshop prowess of their creator.
