Aleksandr Yasin (b. 1971), "Heaven is All XI," 2025

Biography
Graduated from the Crimean High School of Arts and majored in landscape architecture at the Crimean Academy of Environmental Protection and Construction. After graduation, he moved to Poland, where he became a member of the Polish Artists in Warsaw district, and in 2013 joined the Association of Polish Watercolorists. To his credit, he has participated in more than a hundred author and group exhibitions. He has repeatedly won prestigious awards, including an honorable mention for watercolor in the international competition "VII Autumn Salon of Art" at the BWA Gallery in Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski (2004) and first and second degree diplomas for a series of watercolors at the "VII Watercolor Biennial" at the Art Museum in Simferopol (2008). His works are in private collections on five continents, including Poland, Germany, France, Italy, the UK, Australia, Brazil, Argentina, Canada and the USA. The artist's paintings can be seen in the museum collections of the Art Museum in Simferopol, the Historical and Archaeological Museum in Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski, the Museum of the People's Movement in Warsaw and the Boisgelin Castle in Plehedel, France. Ambassadors of many European countries and Argentina also possess his works. Yasin is inspired by the pure colors found in nature, and strives to present the intricacy and detail of forms through simple solids, which, he stresses, can express a painter's subject much more powerfully than a painting saturated and oppressed by minutiae.
