A painter who works in acrylic and oil on canvas, using her own technique enriched with charcoal, oil pastels, and metallic powder.
At the heart of her work lies light—its rhythm, reflections (its lines, patches, and shimmering specks), and energy—which shape the structure of the painting and its emotional message. She creates synthetic, expressive compositions depicting the human figure—often a woman—captured in a state between movement and stillness.
Her paintings are inspired by nature, the motif of water, and the relationship between humans and space as well as their inner selves. Characteristic of her painting are the layered building of texture and luminous, scattered points that lend her works depth and dynamism. The artist’s style, however, is one of constant change and going with the flow.
She does not cling to the past; instead, she opens herself up to new, unpredictable images and the experience of the world’s multidimensionality. The artist experiments with life, translating it into the language of painting. She seeks out and captures moods to share what is moving and worth pausing to consider.
Her works have a personal and introspective dimension; they are a record of emotions, states of mind, and experiences that, despite their individual nature, remain universally accessible. Her latest works, inspired by a trip to Morocco, highlight a dominant, glassy light with warm and cool color tones. At times, this light is built through contrasts; at other times, it blends into the space despite the contrast.She has gained over 20 years of experience as a makeup artist, stylist, and set designer on film productions, commercials, and photo shoots.
