From 1976 to 1981, he studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. The artist’s works are held in the collections of, among others, the National Museum in Kraków, the Upper Silesian Museum in Bytom, and the Main Library of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. He has held 50 solo painting exhibitions and has participated in over 100 group exhibitions both in Poland and abroad.
He has also published six volumes of his diary: *A Painter’s Diary* (Kraków 2002), *Untitled* (Kraków 2004), *Długa Street* (Kraków 2005), Untitled 2 (Kraków 2006), The Year 2006 (Kraków 2007), and 2007 (Kraków 2008).
