I was born in 1962 in Gorlice, a small town near Krakow. My father was an artist - a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, so art was always an important part of my life. My love for colors and forms began when I was still a small child, and it was always obvious to me that my studies would be related to art. I am a graduate of the Institute of Artistic Education at UMSC University in Lublin - I received my diploma in 1992 in the studio of Professor Marian Stelmasik. I have presented my paintings at many individual and group exhibitions. I have also participated in exhibitions related to auctions of artworks for charitable purposes, including auctions of the St. Brother Albert's Aid Society. In the summer I like to participate in plein-air events. Painting is my passion, my profession, my way of life. I have always devoted every free moment to painting. Although oil painting is my favorite means of expression, I try not to stop at it only. I constantly try to find new techniques, because I am convinced that each technique offers new possibilities, develops and challenges at the same time. I am inspired by everything that surrounds me. Every part of the surrounding world captivates me with its beauty and this is so that I can bring out from deep within myself my inner world and pour it onto canvas.
