Patrycja Piętka is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts
Krakow in the studio of Professor Miroslaw Sikorski,
At the same time she is studying stage design. In the artist's paintings
one can notice a specific mood, a certain tension accompanying
such as a misty night, dreamy dreams. The works of Patrycja
Piętka are characterized by oneiricism, they can not be denied
also exceptionally good painting technique. The artist
refers to historical events, depicting them
on canvas as if they were unreal creations of the imagination,
a vague, perhaps even imaginary memory.
At the same time, one might get the impression that her canvases are
stop-frames from old - damaged film tapes.
