On the back is a sticker of TPSP in Krakow, printed with the text in ink: (stamp) 1906 / Uziembło Henryk / Krakow / "Portrait of a Woman", and stamp: Skład Obić Papierowych / i Listew do ram / J. Piotrowska / Sosnowice (former name of Sosnowiec). The painting from the private collection of a family from Sosnowiec, friends of Henryk Uziembła and donated to them directly by the artist.

Study: Krakow Academy of Fine Arts; studio: ST. Wyspianski and T. Axentowicz, deepened by Parisian studies, and preceded by studies at the Kunstgewerbeschule; worked mainly as an interior architect, creator of many polychromes and stained glass windows, prints and posters; in painting he was a landscape painter.
