Unwarped and stained binding, a few pages with unstained margins, otherwise good condition. One of the most beautiful editions among the books designed graphically by the excellent Girs-Barcz Atelier, which to a large extent created the style of Polish book decoration and editorial art of the 1930s. The album, combining the sophisticated aesthetics of modern means of artistic expression with the richness of substantive content, is a unique in form tribute to all Polish aviation, as well as an excellent historical and iconographic source, presenting 235 valuable photographs, documenting the development of aviation technology in Poland. The book, counted among the most important editorial achievements of the interwar period, was presented, among others, at international exhibitions in Paris in 1937 and in New York in 1939, where it received numerous medals and awards.
