Romana Lipeż (1917–2003) was a painter associated with Kraków and a representative of the postwar Colorism movement. She was born in Lviv and received her artistic education at the State School of Decorative Arts and Artistic Industry and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, where she studied under, among others, Władysław Jarocki, Zbigniew Pronaszka, Eugeniusz Eibisch, and Hanna Rudzka-Cybisowa.
She primarily created landscapes, views of Kraków, still lifes, and portraits. Her paintings are characterized by an expressive texture, vibrant colors, and inspirations drawn from Post-Impressionism and the Polish School of Colorism. She also designed stained-glass windows for religious interiors. From 1945, she was a member of the Association of Polish Fine Artists.
She participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions, and her works are held in museum collections and private collections in Poland and abroad.
