Tadeusz Kacalak - one of the best-known representatives of the Kutno sculpture center. He was born on May 2, 1952. From an early age he was distinguished by his manual skills and great imagination. He worked in a barber shop located in the center of Kutno. In the early 1970s he began to sculpt. His works - mostly birds and figurines - were decorations of the establishment where he worked. In 1975 Kacalak presented his sculptures at a competition titled "Souvenir from Leczyca" organized by the Leczyca Museum. He won an honorable mention and it was his debut as a sculptor.
