This songbook was created to uphold the fighting spirit and national identity of the soldiers of the Polish Army in the East and the newly formed 2nd Polish Corps under the command of General Władysław Anders.
The songs were collected and arranged by Adam Dyląg and Wiarosław Sandelewski.
It was published as Volume I as part of the so-called White Eagle Library. The physical copy was printed in Jerusalem at the Franciscan Printing House.
Between 1940 and 1948, Palestine and the Middle East served as one of the most important centers for Polish war refugees and as bases for the formation and redeployment of the Polish Armed Forces. Due to the lack of access to Poland, Polish field printing presses, publishing houses, and theaters operated vigorously in the region.
101 pages, hardcover, with clippings and notes inside the book.
