Marek OKRASSA, Golf. White convertible

oil, canvas, 90 x 100 cm, 2021, signed p.d.: M/Okrassa '21. In 2010, commissioned by the owner of the golf course, Marek Okrassa painted the painting "Golf". There was a genre scene measuring 252 x 365 cm showing a section of a golf course by the sea and the refined company gathered there. In the foreground, the attention was drawn to a lavishly set table with a several-tiered platter full of fruit. The right side of the picture was occupied by a golfer. On the left, on the other hand, a lady in a convertible was driving, with a golf bag filled with clubs. The artist returned to this particular piece after 11 years. Again we see one of his favorite sports cars, a Jaguar XK120 roadster, driven by a woman. Next to her, on the passenger seat - a bag with golf clubs.

In 1994?1999 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk at the Faculty of Painting and Graphics. In 1996-1997 and 1997-1998 he received art scholarships from the Minister of Culture and Art and the Mayor of Sopot. He works in painting, drawing, illustration, poster, graphic computer design and serigraphy. He has participated in several group exhibitions and has also held a couple of solo exhibitions at home and abroad. He cooperates with art publishers (including Twój Styl press publishing house, Art Crowd Magazine publishing house in New York), and has won prizes and awards in nationwide graphic design competitions, including the Silver Ostrog award in the Promotions '99 competition in Legnica.
