Biography
The artist graduated in 1988 from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, in the studio of Prof. Stefan Gierowski. She completed a minor in printmaking in the studio of Prof. Halina Chrostowska. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions; her works are part of private collections located, among other places, in Poland, France, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, the U.S., Canada, South Korea, Austria, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. Beata Murawska most often paints flowers. Among flowers, she prefers tulips and fields of colorful tulips. She composes them in harmony with their color tones. She harmonizes colors like a musician, ensuring that there are no color dissonances in the painting. The harmony of the painting is what matters most to her.
