Lot description
Three pewter teapots from Horní Slavkov, an important Central European center of pewter production. The teapots have a typical baroque shape with a bulbous body, an elegantly curved handle and a hinged lid. Each vessel bears pewter marks on the inside at the bottom, which confirms their origin and authenticity.
Horní Slavkov has been a famous center of pewter-making since the 16th century.
