Cross No. 3961 awarded by order 139 of 1920 to Firemaster Jan Kuhls of the 5th Battery of the 17th Field Artillery Regiment for fighting the Bolsheviks.
Jan Kuhls was a Greater Poland insurgent from the Markowicka Company, served in the Polish Army between the wars, and survived the war. He was awarded the Cross of Valor twice, the second time he received the decoration for the Greater Poland Uprising.
