The series of works by Pablo Picasso titled "347 engravings" is a collection of engravings created by the artist in a relatively short period of time, between March 16 and October 5, 1968. The works were first exhibited at Galerie Louise Leiris in Paris in late 1968 and early 1969.
The "347 Engravings" series is unique in that it was created at a relatively late period in Picasso's career, when the artist was already well established and considered one of the most important artists of the 20th century.
