Maciej Rasała was born in Gdynia, but raised in Sopot. Computer graphics fascinated him since he was 17. After graduating from a technical school of shipbuilding he worked in Gdynia Shipyard to earn money for his first computer. His persistence in building his first portfolio allowed him to leave his home town and start working in Warsaw. Since 2012 he is collaborating with Niebo Kopernika production studio where he is a member of a small team creating films screened on planetarium domes in Fulldome technology. He is also absorbed in his own digital sculpture and character design projects.
