Biography
Trained as an architect, she has been painting professionally since 2021. Represented by the Heart of The Tribe Art Gallery (Glastonbury, UK). Olga Pietruszka's work is characterized by deep contrasts and chiaroscuro and a limited color palette (Payne gray, beige, white). The main subject of her works is nature, especially the sky, misty landscapes, dramatic mountain peaks and seascapes. The painter's paintings are emotional journeys and stories that stir a range of feelings in the viewer. Heavy storm clouds, fog-shrouded mountain peaks, or delicate reflections of light on the refractions of waves are, as it were, the language of these stories, transporting the viewer through equally extreme emotions. Behind the expressiveness of Olga Pietruszka's works are her personal stories and difficult life experiences.
