Biography
Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk in 2018, from the Department of Sculpture and Intermedia. Androgynous figures in Niewinski's paintings are drawn from mythology, fairy tales and legends. Sexuality and changeability of social roles are intertwined leitmotifs in the artist's works. The works from under the brush of Kamil Niewinski are characterized by a wide range of colors, detail and ornamentation. For the artist, painting is a way to cross the boundaries of reality and create alternative worlds. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including the Salon International d'Art Contemporain at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris in 2023.
