Graduate of the painting department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk in the studio of Prof. Piotr Jozefowicz. He took 12 years to learn painting and drawing and his first attempts to create some kind of painting. He was always interested in human emotions, expressed through human facial expressions. After many years of hesitation, he began to paint and draw
, "seriously". As the subject of his works, paintings, he chose human faces, often damaged, wrinkled, having a clear expression of a hard or health-degrading life. The densely applied oil paint in his portraits is an attempt to imitate the texture of the skin outlined by wear and tear. It is also his seeing and tapping into the emotions expressed at a given moment or period of life. His current series of works is related to the environment of people who are immersed in alcoholism, living on the street, making a living from collecting. I try to convey their faces in a simple, clear way and find beauty in them through color, structure .
