PRL Request to Attend ZHP Meeting Scouting

The letter of December 11, 1989, addressed to Scoutmaster Ryszard Rudzinski, contains an invitation to participate in a meeting to establish the National Committee for the Rebirth of ZHP. The authors - including Prof. Władysław Findeisen, Hm. Stanislaw "Orsza" Broniewski, Bishop Kazimierz Górny and Hm. Kazimierz Wiatr - emphasize the need to restore true scouting ideas and methods in the upbringing of youth, consistent with the spirit of the country's rebirth after the 1989 changes. The meeting was scheduled for December 16, 1989, at 11:00 a.m. in the building of the Faculty of Electronics at Warsaw University of Technology. If unable to attend, permission to join the Committee was requested in writing or by telephone. The letter was also accompanied by documents explaining the goals of the initiative and a list of invitees.
