On a square cubic pedestal a naked, hugging, kissing couple.
The ceramic figure with pastel-yellow glaze is a reduced reproduction of an art-deco style stoneware sculpture made in the 1920s, fired in Bouffioulx near Charleroi, at the atelier of prominent Belgian ceramicist Roger Guerin (1896-1954) to a design by Dutch artist Chris Agterberg (1883-1948).
