Peter Vischer the elder [1460-1529] - a native of Nuremberg, one of the most eminent gisers and casting masters of his era. author of, among others: the tombstone of Cardinal Frederick Jagiellon and Peter Kmita in Wawel Cathedral and the epitaph of Philip Callimach in the Dominican Church (the figure of the deceased was designed by Wit Stwosz).
