Volume IV from 1801 of the *Nowy Pamiętnik Warszawski* (*New Warsaw Memoir*), a Warsaw-based political and literary monthly published from 1801 to 1805 under the editorship of Franciszek Ksawery Dmochowski. The journal was associated with the Society of Friends of Science and addressed topics in the fields of history, politics, literature, science, and culture.
Contents include, among other things: An excerpt from Mungo Park’s journey through the interior of Africa. A description of the negotiations, held on two separate occasions, between J. Zamoyski, Chancellor of the Kingdom of Poland, and P.
