Fritz Klaiberg (Gelsenkirchen 1921–1998) was a German painter. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts under Professors Franz Xaver Stahl (animal painter), Herman Kaspar, and Hugo von Habermann. He was a member of the Munich Artists’ Society. He was famous for his paintings of horses, in which he captured their majestic beauty and wildness. He also painted Mediterranean landscapes. During his lifetime, he was represented by the Arnot Gallery in New York. Several of his works have been sold at auction.
