The painting "Bark 2" by Zuzanna Walas is a painting measuring 55 cm (height) by 38 cm (width). Zuzanna Walas is often inspired by both architecture and nature. In this work, the artist explores the structure of bark by interpreting it in an abstract way. Zuzanna Walas - born in 1990 in Cracow, raised in France. She graduated from the Ecole Boulle in Paris with a degree in applied arts. She studied graphic design at PJATK in Warsaw where she received a scholarship from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Numerous travels are the artist's main inspiration. She is interested in the everyday life of people, the life of a place and the unique atmosphere of cities - she always wonders what colors are characteristic of a place. Nature, organic forms with elements of surrealism are also subjects taken up by the artist. For more than 13 years, she has participated in young art auctions, charity auctions and group as well as solo exhibitions. Her paintings are in private collections in Poland, France, Andorra, Switzerland, the United States and South Korea.
