Biography
Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Architecture. In 1963 he moved to Paris for good. In 1965-71 he co-founded the MIASTO Group with Jan Karczewski and Michel Lefebvre. Together they prepared utopian projects of cities of the future. He received many awards including First Prize for the 1965 Paris Biennale and the Grand Prix d'Architecture et d'Urbanisme in Cannes in 1969 and 1970. For years he worked as an urban planner in Paris. He created many designs for public buildings, residential complexes, and urban complexes.
