Wieslaw Walkuski - (born Bialystok 1956) In 1976-1981 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw under Prof. Teresa Pągowska - painting and Prof. Maciej Urbaniec - graphic design. In the 1980s, he worked with a number of Warsaw publishing houses, theaters and Polfilm and Polish Film - film distributors. Since 1987, as an independent artist , he has been involved in artistic posters , illustration , painting. To his credit, he has more than 200 published posters. Counted among the world's most prominent contemporary artists designing art posters. However, he is first and foremost a painter and always uses the classical painting method in his work, which he particularly emphasizes.
He lives and works in Warsaw.
