Unger Wolfgang Heinz (1929-2019), German post-impressionist painter who excelled in spatula technique. Active mainly in Munich. In 1945/48 he studied at the School of Fine Arts under Prof. Crodel. From 1948 he worked as an independent painter. From 1956 he was a student of Otto Pippel, with whom he became close friends. He also took lessons from another painter William Crane. Beginning in the 1960s, he had many solo exhibitions. He made a number of artistic trips, including to Africa, America and India.
