Studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. Graduated from Prof. Zbigniew Gostomski's studio in 1997. There is a coolness and precision of art deco in Tomasz Karabowicz's realistic depictions, and an aura of anxiety like the German artists of the New Objectivity. Interiors, objects and people in Karabovich's paintings give the impression of being alienated from reality and leave the viewer with a sense of the strangeness of existence.
