He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drawing and Painting from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, and then spent several years in an independent artists' studio. He then moved to Krakow, where he had his first solo exhibition in April 2018. Since then, he has continued to participate in group and solo exhibitions.
"The starting point of my current paintings is the idea of fractals - detailed, repeating patterns, organic forms and similar arrangements at increasingly smaller scales. The pixel markings also suggest a 'magic eye' effect, drawing the viewer in search of a possible image in the apparent chaos." - Michael Fullarton
