Mixed technique on canvas ( acrylic, brocade ), dimensions 30 x 40 cm, described and signed on the back of the canvas: "Tiger passes the fruit of love" 2013 Krzysztof Skarbek
Prof.zw. Krzysztof Skarbek is one of the most important contemporary artists in Poland and one of the outstanding of the representatives and Polish creators of New Expression. His rich oeuvre cannot be defined in a single word, indeed, there is a lack of unambiguous axiological terms that could facilitate the determination of the genre and genre affiliation of his oeuvre. The outstanding artist himself states:
"(...) I tell in my paintings and films about feelings and relations between people and civilization, which wants to crush them, sometimes finish them off, but they don't give up - they fight or play all the time. I'm not interested in playing compositional tricks, playing games. Painting is simply one of the languages used to express my dreams. But what I would like most is for all that I paint to happen in reality." Krzysztof Skarbek.
In his latest works, using his own technique on canvas, Krzysztof Skarbek touches on a subject close to each of us: love and breathes romance, dreams for affection and tender kisses.
After all, the most important thing in life is love, eroticism and...?
