Studied painting under Prof. Adam Rychtarski and in Lodz and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the studios of Zbigniew Pronaszko and Waclaw Taranczewski. He practiced easel painting, drawing, lithography and mural painting in sacred buildings. Most of his works are landscapes. His paintings can be found in many collections and collections including those of the Ministry of Culture and Art, the Museum of Traditions Independence in Lodz, the Municipal Art Gallery in Lodz, the Museum in Bydgoszcz, the Museum in Sieradz and many private collections. Since 1957, the artist has lived in Lodz.
