Boguslaw LUSTYK
b. 1940 Warsaw
Graduated with honors from the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Painting at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts in 1965. Diploma in the atelier of Prof. Jozef Mroszczak After his studies he practiced illustration and book graphics. He won about twenty prizes and awards in national poster competitions. He participated in more than 80 individual and group exhibitions of posters and paintings in France, Belgium, the USA and Australia, among others. His international career began with a joint exhibition in Hannover, where he presented his work together with the well-known German sculptor Johen Il. Boguslaw Lustyk lives and works in the United States, where he has his studio, a large audience, collectors and serious art commissions. In his art he remains faithful to the atmosphere of the Polish poster school. Horses and theater are the artist's favorite subjects maintained in a style of poetic expression.
