Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, Faculty of Painting and Sculpture. He defended his diploma in the painting studio of Prof. Krzysztof Skarbek. Finalist of the 11th edition of the Artistic Journey of Hestia competition, Gdansk, 2012. His first significant individual exhibition within the series "Akademism" was realized in 2010 at Geppert's Apartment in Wroclaw. On top of that, in the same year, an individual show in the club "NRD" in Torun. Several times a participant in the Survival Art Review in Wroclaw, as an author of sound installations and performer, including in S. Tolpa Park and Bunker Strzegom. This was followed by a group exhibition at BWA Studio in Wroclaw in 2011, and then a high-profile performance at the National Museum in Wroclaw, when he suspended one of his works unnoticed, attaching it arbitrarily for a period of several days to the Lower Silesian center's art collection. The "Aviaries 2" event at the Wrocław Contemporary Museum once again showed how Sobiepan easily arranges the exhibition space holistically, without ever thinking of an image in terms of what takes place on its flat surface. A series of "site specific" installations and spatial realizations were followed by solo shows at "MDS" Gallery in 2012 and R46 Gallery in Wroclaw in 2014. On the occasion of the latter event, the first paintings were created in the form of designed objects with lids and handles, reminiscent of collectibles, which one would think came out of the hands of a designer rather than a painter. It was the photo-report of this very realization that encouraged curator R. Kuśmirowski to invite Sobiepan to participate in the collective exhibition "PALINDROM" at the State Art Gallery in Sopot in 2015. The period of the next few years was intensive work on specific skills and materials, time spent learning varnishing techniques and wood and plastic processing. His willingness to rely solely on his own expertise, without the need to outsource certain work "outside", eventually placed him in the role of artist, designer and skilled craftsman. One of the most recent events is the exhibition "Hyper Surface" at the Gallery of Contemporary Art "POCO" in Wroclaw this year.
